At Data Science Dojo, we are looking for a talented and creative individual to join our rapidly growing organization’s Sales and Marketing team.
As an Accounts Manager, you will help build, communicate, and grow Data Science Dojo’s vision of delivering premier data science training. You will be the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. You will be responding to customers’ inquiries regarding our training programs, making sure that their concerns are taken care of. Your work will have a strong influence on the overall impression of the organization.
As Data Science Dojo greatly relies on the value of data, you will be expected to use the power of data to add value to the marketing campaigns of the organization. You will work closely with many remarkable people at Data Science Dojo, including but not limited to our data science, engineering, development, and social media teams.
Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas
- Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal
- Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships
- Create sales collateral (presentations, brochures) about services provided by Data Science Dojo
- Lead discovery calls with potentials customers and scopes the project with estimates on timelines, cost, and delivery milestones
- Develop and maintain sales process by managing multiple deals simultaneously
- Directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base
- Present products to prospective clients and keep records of sales data in the CRM system
- Remain in regular contact with the clients to understand and meet their needs
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and maintain the company’s reputation
- Efficiently and effectively conduct needs assessments at various levels and within multiple customers, and groups (technical, line of business, executive, etc.)
- Demonstrating resourcefulness and flexibility as part of ever-growing sales
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list
Minimum Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in business administration, computer science, sales/marketing, or any other related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles and delivering compelling presentations to senior leaders
- Strong end-to-end ownership attitude from prospecting, and demonstrations, to closing
- Must be a self-starter, who empowers themselves and others to learn in a quickly evolving environment
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (HubSpot) a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Business acumen, enthusiasm, and passionate
