Associate IT Manager – Morning Shift

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure smooth running IT operations of the assigned region, including office network, firewalls, servers, internet devices, and computer systems.
  • Assist the Manager IT in running the overall department and working closely with him/her to design, development, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure to proactively plan for future organizational growth.
  • Manage and maintain record of inventory. Plan procurement of IT equipment and liaise with local peripheral vendors/ISP’s as and when required for IT infrastructure management.
  • Working with the team hands-on, when required, to ensure continuous operations at all times.
  • Train and coach junior team members to conduct their duties effectively. Provide timely feedback to assigned team members about their performance and areas of improvements including goal setting.
  • Supervise team members and manage work allocation to oversee timely resolution of IT support tickets raised by company employees.
  • Keep close eye on information security in the organization and implement information security policies.
  • Proactively identify technical improvement areas and discuss solutions.
  • Have a professional and empathetic relationships with all other organizational teams and act in alignment with organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the relevant field.
  • Must be a resident of Lahore City.
  • Good understanding of routers and firewalls
  • Have worked on Windows servers or Linux servers
  • Have worked on virtualization Hyper-V or VMware
  • Have worked on any cloud platform AWS or Azure
  • Experience on Office365
