Backend Developer, Zones Digital Innovation Center

The Full-stack Developer will be a key member of the digital transformation team at Zones. We are looking for individuals who want to grow professionally and make an impact on the business transformation of a $2 billion USD company.

About You

You are a dynamic, multifaceted individual who has a background in Computer Science or Engineering and experience implementing enterprise application APIs for Angular, React, Vue, and native mobile apps.  You possess knowledge of agile processes and principles. You also have a keen interest and understanding of ecommerce processes and double-sided marketplaces.

You possess intellectual curiosity, out of box thinking, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work/influence across multiple stakeholder groups.

What You Have

• 6+years of progressive engineering experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Backend API developer for enterprise software.
• 6+ years of experience in software development building e-commerce software.
• Hands-on experience with any of the following: C/C++, PHP, Python, Rust, etc.
• API design and integration experience with REST or GraphQL.
• Expert-level working experience with messaging systems like NATS, KAFKA, GRPc, etc.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and good knowledge of various design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, etc. 

Your Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, and or relevant experience.
