Position Overview

The Business System Analyst – SCM will be a key member of the team at Zones. We are looking for individuals who want to grow professionally and make an impact on the business transformation of a $2 billion USD company.

The Business Systems Analyst – SCM is responsible for supporting all the system and process needs of specific user groups within Zones, such as Sales, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics, etc. The position focuses on developing a complete understanding of the end-users’ business needs and designing system solutions to effectively support those business processes. The BSA serves as the primary liaison between the business users and the development teams.

You Possess:

  • Deliver solutions that improve business functions for Zones.
  • Provide product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by an assigned business area.
  • Develop business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Build / Contribute to the construction and delivery of IT roadmaps for the assigned business/functional area.
  • Create and maintain constructive, positive partnerships between Information Technology and assigned business/functional areas.
  • Fully understand the business processes of users in the areas of responsibility
  • Provide application and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support.
  • Must have worked closely with warehouse teams for IT solution delivery and understand routine work / transactions / pain areas of warehousing / Logistics.
  • Knowledge and implementation experience of D365 FnO AWMS (Advance warehouse management solution) is preferred.
  • Must have worked in D365 FnO module in following modules like on
  • Inventory management
  • Master planning
  • Procurement and sourcing
  • Product information management
  • Production Control

Warehouse management/Advanced warehousing

  • Transportation Management knowledge is desirable not essential.
  • Manage and resolve support issues and escalations as assigned.
  • Ensure root causes are identified and appropriately communicated and documented.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) preferred.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Create and maintain constructive, positive partnerships between Information Technology and assigned business/functional areas like Attend team meetings, Assist with Training on new projects or applications and.
  • Fully understand the business processes of users in the areas of responsibility like Set up reviews with key business leaders and Shadow business users to fully understand process and functionality.
  • Develop business requirements and functional specifications by Aligning with business to understand requirements and Work with development team to build actionable requirements.
  • Provide product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by an assigned business area by Documenting application functionalities and provide consultative overview and guidance.
  • Manage and resolve support issues and escalations as assigned by Partnering with Application Support and Monitor App Support queue.
  • Work with business groups as production issues are escalated.
  • 7+ years relevant experience required in business systems analysis, systems functional analysis, and business case development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, users, systems, and deadlines.

  • Proactive problem solver
  • Experience with Tier-1 ERP Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory and Warehousing module required.
  • Background in D365 F&O / Microsoft Dynamics AX supply chain and master planning preferred.
