Responsibilities:
- Oversee all content creation activities for the organization’s website.
- Create a content calendar to ensure regular content publishing on the website throughout the year, including off-site publications.
- Provide creative leadership and governance on projects and to all team members.
- Train the content team on how to use the website content management system.
- Manage and mentor the new talent on our systems as per our SOPs and workflows.
- On-board, manage, and groom freelance writers and Editors to maintain daily publishing frequency for our projects.
- Develop and implement methods/workflows for timely content production with quality for all digital platforms and for ensuring governance and collaboration across the team.
- Work closely with the marketing managers to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company’s wider goals.
- Work alongside the SEO and content team to create content.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitor websites.
- Ensure visual content for troubleshooting, how-to, and review content pieces.
- Be a point of contact for the Agile Manager for scheduling and resourcing queries around creative content projects.
- Develop a strong vision, appropriately organize, develop and present ideas, options, plans, goals, initiatives, roadmaps, business cases, and other pertinent information required by management to make effective decisions.
Relevant Experience:
- Prior experience of 3 to 5+ years in the relevant industry.
- Great command of the English language, proven editorial skills with a hawk eye for proofreading.
- Expert in handling end-to-end demand generation and content funnel optimization cycle. As a responsible person of the content marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers.
- Expert-level knowledge of Content tactics such as search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, and email marketing.
- Superior communication skills. You need to be a superstar, whether it’s written, verbal, formal presentation, or informal hallway talks. Concise, honest, and accurate techniques are a must.
- Excellent coaching skills and the ability to nurture talent and help them grow their technical and professional skills.
- You must have the courage to give your team, peers, and managers constructive feedback. Feedback given correctly and received correctly is a gift
- Strong inclination towards learning and development for personal and professional growth.
