Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Development and maintenance of backend APIs in PHP
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Writing tests for React components.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React.js, its core principles and React component lifecycle.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js).
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience of object oriented PHP programming and it’s frameworks such as Laravel, CakePHP etc..
• Knowledge of TDD (i.e. test driven development) in PHP will be a plus.
• Familiarity with JS testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercuria.
• Knowledge of Docker will be a plus.
