Job Description

Summary

This role will be the BI developer on a BI analytics project in areas of Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and operational reports development. Responsible for converting customer requirements with close collaboration with internal team into solution design, hands-on complex logic development and solution delivery and quality review. Ultimately responsible for delivering high quality scalable solution to customer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, implement and maintain reports and logic in SQL server.
• Working closely with project leads to understanding business needs and implementing required enhancements.
• Create and maintain complex stored procedures to support business logic.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Extract data from multiple data sources.        
• Data modelling against data warehouse to answer analytical business questions.
• Doing RCA for existing report issues.
• Working with team to understand the existing reports to provide support.
• Creating and updating ETL process using SSIS.

Requirements

Must Have Attributes 

• 5+ years experience in delivering enterprise BI solutions.
• 4+ years experience using SQL Server.
• Hands on experience in SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.      
• Knowledge of fundamentals of data warehouses design principles.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
• Experience in data warehouse design, implementation and maintenance.   
• Excellent RCA skills.
• Experience in developing stored procedures to fulfill business needs.
• Experience in providing support to mission critical reports.

Nice to Have 

• Can do scripting in powershell.
• Understanding of Synapse Analytics, ADF.
