Job Description:
Gaditek is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage the transition between project planning and software deployment. In this role, the responsible person’s duties will include supervising junior developers, developing software and configuring systems, and performing diagnostic tests throughout the stages of development.
Once you are here, you will:
- Supports the team by mentoring that increases their confidence and knowledge, responding timely, and efficiently.
- Automate deployments, monitoring, management, and incident response for the platform.
- Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
- Infuse security-focused practices into all aspects of engineering and development.
- Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.
- You’ll be using a number of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) to enable rapid delivery, whilst working to our standards (must be secure, robust, and accessible).
- Identify opportunities and bring solutions to day-to-day challenges.
- You’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting our platforms. Your role is proactive, checking relevant metrics and performing platform updates when necessary.
- In the development of code or scripts to provide automation and consistent deployment patterns in at least one major programming/scripting language.
- Maintain Git workflows for version control (Source code management).
- Develop and maintain automated CI / CD pipelines. Must have experience with CI/CD tool (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Scripting in Python and Bash.
- Working on a public cloud provider (AWS / Azure).

Relevant Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 5+ Years of experience with configuration management tool (ansible) and an orchestration tool (terraform)
- Knowledge of ELK stack, New-relic, and Grafana
- Must have experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Works on environments like CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, etc
- Working experience in Apache, Nginx, MySql, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Monit, Cloudflare, etc.
