Gaditek is in search of a Software Engineer (PHP) who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment while working on complex problems with a talented team— conceptualizing, developing, and implementing applications and features from scratch using the latest technologies.

This role requires a creative technology team member. Someone who is responsible for high-quality delivery of a range of projects, leveraging their skills in PHP. We need someone who has the technical experience and loves to focus on iteratively building and improving existing and new products, is self-motivated and inspired to explore new vistas, and will both support and lead initiatives that will take us to new levels of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, testing (with the QA department), maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing web applications with high volumes of traffic and high availability. We’re looking for someone who is self-reliant, laser-focused believes in rapid execution, and will create software solutions in PHP that humanizes technology and delivers solutions that solve complex problems, simply and seamlessly.

This is why we are searching for someone who has foundational technical knowledge and experience working with PHP but has the openness to adopt programmatic thinking to help us create understanding and solving problems.

Once you are here, you will:

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions in a presentable form
• Help build and scale one of the most disruptive products
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Solve challenging engineering problems for scalable architecture
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Gravitate toward break-out career growth opportunities for accelerated learning and growth
• Collaborate with other engineers, product, customer success, and all other stakeholders
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

Relevant Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Web Development.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Highly skilled in PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript, AJAX, and Jquery.
• Experience in dealing with MVC Frameworks, the latest web technologies, and version control.
• Experience in working with micro-service frameworks to build loosely coupled and independently deployable applications
• Write unit-test friendly code and perform unit-tests on the developed software.
• Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Xhtml, HTML5, CSS.
• An interest in working with a real Agile team.
• A good attitude and cooperative behavior with leadership qualities is strongly desired.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with minimum supervision required.
• Innovative and creative in his approach
