Job description:

A Sr. Software Quality Assurance (QA) engineer monitors every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards. Software delays are costly for a company, so it’s vital for releases to meet target dates and stay within budget. A Sr. Software Quality Assurance engineer helps meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams.

Timings: 9 am – 6 pm
Experiences: 2 – 4 Years

Job Responsibilities/Required Skills:

– Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful
  feedback
– Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
– Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
– Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
– Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
– Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
– Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
– Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
– Monitor debugging process results
– Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
– Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
– Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
– Critical thinker.
– Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
– Networking and Network troubleshooting. 

Qualification:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
– Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
– Excellent problem-solving skills

Good to have:
– Proficiency with at least one web development language, such as Python, Ruby, Php, JavaScript, C++, C#
