System Support Engineer
Job Profile:
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have in-depth understanding and knowledge in computer networks.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
- Good understanding of computer Systems / Windows Servers and Active Directory.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to users.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Assists with establishing networking environment by installing, configuring, testing, and documenting the equipment/network systems according to the design and specifications.
- Assists with day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruption.
- Provides technical support, responds to work orders and tickets from the users, analyzes and solves reported network problems.
- Assists with producing documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Tools / Skills:
- Good Knowledge of DNS/DHCP
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good Knowledge installing Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Installation and Configuration of email client applications.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory and domain environment.
