Job Description:

You’ll be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready to go live. The material may include camera footage, stock footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

Once you are here, you will:

• Working with your Lead in capturing Videos and photos.
• Analyzing the screenplay, characters, and story structure and deciding on a visual approach with the director.
• Playing the role of supporting the team in look and feel.
• Understanding of post-production techniques.
• Figuring out what type of equipment to use.
• Cleaning and disassembling hardware.
• Setting up and tearing down cameras, audio recorders, lighting & microphones.
• Visual storytelling.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work to a schedule and plan workflows to meet deadlines.
• Ensuring that the final product aligns with the needs of the team and is delivered on time.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum experience of 2-3 years working in the professional field of video editor.
• Specific Skills: Strong sense of video & photography, with basic post production capabilities.
• Software Capabilities.
• Ahold of the Adobe suite on a whole, specialization in.
• Knowledge of Premiere, Animate, Audition would be a pro but not compulsory.
• Creativity and attention to detail: Videographer plays a key role in the look of the video which represents the brand. Your initiatives and attention to detail is key to portraying Savyour’s image as one of the household names in the national market.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure: In our team we have always delivered and we’d like to keep it that way. We’d like you to be able to work on tight schedules when need be or whenever there’s a crunch.
• Flexibility and good listening skills.
• Systems work: We have systems in place that work to save time and removes any and all bottlenecks faced by our team. As we’re serving the organic marketing hence there are different dependencies as well as different stakeholder, hence be open to changes as well as the briefs, which are based on research.
